SENIOR BIM ARCHITECT

Oneworks is about to open a new office in Mumbai, and we are looking for a talented Architect with strong BIM skills and international project experience to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our Mumbai office from its early stages, working closely with Oneworks teams across our international network and contributing to the design and delivery of complex architectural projects across different geographies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience, a strong architectural and technical background, excellent proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM-based workflows, and previous exposure to international projects, clients or multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of architectural projects across different design stages, from concept development through detailed design and delivery;

• Support for the BOQ team in extracting quantities of objects from Revit using schedules;

• Develop and manage architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with project standards;

• Produce and coordinate architectural drawings, models and technical documentation within a BIM environment (Autodesk Revit);

• Collaborate with architects, engineers and other disciplines across international and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated design solutions;

• Identify and resolve design and BIM coordination issues throughout the project lifecycle;

• Contribute to internal design reviews, coordination meetings and project presentations;

• Work closely with One Works teams across different offices, contributing to projects in international markets;

• Ensure high standards of design quality and attention to detail while meeting project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture;

• At least 5 years of professional experience within an architectural practice or multidisciplinary design consultancy;

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and good understanding of BIM processes and workflows;

• Previous experience working on international projects and/or collaborating with international teams, clients or consultants;

• Solid architectural design and technical documentation skills;

• Good understanding of construction processes, building systems and multidisciplinary coordination;

• Ability to work effectively within international and multidisciplinary teams;

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;

• Excellent communication skills and professional proficiency in English;

• Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, project-driven environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on large-scale and complex international projects (particularly in sectors such as airports, metro and rail systems);

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and visualization tools;

• Autodesk Forma Data Management;

• Previous experience coordinating architectural models with structural and MEP disciplines;

• Familiarity with international design standards, building codes and project delivery processes.
