0rijin Village is looking for a dynamic and experienced person as Senior Business Officer of our Ecosystem UP. Under the responsibility of the Executive Director, the Senior Business Officer of the Ecosystem UP carries out canvassing with companies, develops and follows up with them in order to increase the number of participating companies and the achievement of objectives. covered by the agreement. The successful candidate will be called upon to:

• Develop a canvassing strategy with businesses in the city and implement an action plan;
• Meet with business representatives and present them with the different program options;
• Make public presentations;
• Represent 0rijin Village with companies in certain events;
• Ensure the dissemination of information on the program in various networks of economic development and the private sector;
• Collaborate in the development of communication and monitoring tools for businesses;
• Write reports;
• Keep tables and work tools up to date;
• Perform other related duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in administration, sales or any other discipline related to the job and 1 to 3 years of experience;
• Have a professional network in the business community;
• Ability to sell and ability to convince;
• Knowledge of the immigration situation in Quebec as well as the Quebec labor market and interest in these issues;
• Communication skills and ability to make public presentations;
• Sense of organization and autonomy;
• Initiative;
• Professionalism;
• Fluency in French and English;
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Google;
• Knowledge of economic development and the community environment is an asset.
