What you’ll do

As a Senior Civil Designer in our Roads & Highways team based in Gladstone or Rockhampton, you’ll lead the delivery of complex road and civil infrastructure projects that make a lasting impact on communities across Queensland.

You’ll enjoy the opportunity to live and work in Central Queensland while staying connected to a nationally recognised transport team delivering some of the state’s most significant infrastructure projects. Working alongside talented engineers, project managers and technical specialists, you’ll help shape the future of transport networks across the region.

• Lead civil and road design activities, including advanced 12d modelling, on major transport and infrastructure projects
• Deliver high-quality design solutions aligned with Austroads, TMR and industry standards
• Mentor and develop designers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration across project teams
• Work closely with engineers, project managers and clients to solve complex infrastructure challenges
• Contribute to the successful delivery of significant road, highway and civil infrastructure projects throughout Queensland

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years’ experience in civil design, with a strong focus on roads and highways
• Advanced 12d modelling capability and proven experience delivering TMR projects
• Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring small design teams
• Strong understanding of Austroads, TMR specifications and relevant industry standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Australian Citizenship
