Senior C#/.NET Desktop Developer

The Ubiquiti Prague office is looking for an experienced C#/.NET Desktop Developer to help us build modern, high-quality desktop applications across macOS, Windows, and Linux.

This role requires working from our Prague office at least two days per week.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional C#/.NET development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and solid experience building desktop applications.
• Experience with modern .NET and desktop UI frameworks such as Avalonia, WPF, or similar, including MVVM and modern async/await patterns.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with WebSocket communication.
• Experience implementing high-fidelity UIs from Figma designs and collaborating closely with designers.
• Solid understanding of application architecture, performance optimization, debugging, and memory management.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar, using AI as part of day-to-day development.
• Fluent in English and Czech.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cross-platform desktop development, including shared core architecture with platform-specific UI and service layers.
• Experience building applications with real-time updates or streaming data using WebRTC, MQTT, or similar technologies.
• Experience with IPC mechanisms such as named pipes or Unix sockets between a UI process and a privileged helper or service.
• Experience developing platform-specific background services, such as Windows Services or Linux daemons.
• Interest in networking technologies and IoT products, including VPNs, WireGuard, and network management.
