About The Role

Are you ready to work inside complex business environments and help shape high-impact recommendations for leading Telecom, Media and Technology (TMT) clients across Europe?

As a Senior Consultant within FTI Consulting's Business Transformation team, you will join a vertically specialised practice with a strong functional focus on strategy, transformation and transactions.

You will be part of a close-knit team of more than 30 professionals serving European clients (Private Equity firms, global corporates and banks) from two dedicated TMT hubs in London and Barcelona. You will work alongside experienced consultants and recognised industry experts who will coach you in identifying client challenges, conducting rigorous analysis, and developing insights that inform decisions at board and investment committee level.

The role demands a sharp analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams while delivering high-quality output under tight deadlines. You will typically work in small, high-performing teams that actively encourage collaboration, learning and ownership.

Our team brings together top-tier consultants and former industry executives to deliver practical, actionable solutions that drive sustainable performance and long-term value. You will contribute to projects spanning strategic planning through to hands-on execution. As trusted advisers, we work side-by-side with our clients from day one, not only designing strategies but helping ensure they are implemented and deliver measurable impact.

What You'll Do

• Support the day-to-day delivery of client projects, working alongside FTI colleagues, client personnel and other advisers on the engagement.
• Apply business, strategy, finance and analytical skills across a broad range of client situations; including, but not limited to, market sizing and forecasting, competitor and operational benchmarking, business plan assessment, and financial modelling.
• Conduct primary and secondary research on public and private companies, markets, technologies and regulatory developments across the TMT sector.
• Translate analysis into clear, structured messages and build client-ready outputs, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all deliverables.
• Sense-check results, identify the implication behind the numbers, and flag issues early.
• Manage your own workload against deadlines, communicate progress proactively, and act on feedback. We operate an apprenticeship model, so you should expect to receive and apply feedback continuously.
• Contribute to the practice beyond client work, including intellectual capital such as points of view and white papers, as well as credentials, pitches and proposals.
• Own a defined module or workstream end-to-end with guidance from a Director or Senior Director, including scoping the analysis, agreeing the approach and quality-assuring the output.
• Act as a day-to-day point of contact for mid-level client counterparts, building credibility through the quality and clarity of your work.
• Direct and review the work of Consultants and Interns, and provide constructive feedback as a role model to more junior colleagues.
• Take a leading drafting role on proposals and business development materials.

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Professional experience, including time in a consulting, strategy, transactions or comparable role.
• Demonstrable knowledge of, and/or genuine interest in, the Telecom, Media and Technology sector.
• Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel and PowerPoint, in a professional environment.
• Practical experience applying AI and GenAI tools to research, analysis or content production in a professional setting.
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI Consulting offices as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's in Business Administration degree
• Prior experience in management consulting or a professional services environment.
