Senior Consultant Gastroenterology in a Leading Healthcare Facility

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist consultation, diagnosis, and comprehensive management of gastrointestinal and liver-related disorders.
• Manage complex cases including inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver diseases, pancreatic disorders, and digestive system conditions.
• Perform advanced gastroenterology procedures including diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, and other specialized interventions.
• Evaluate diagnostic findings and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide pre-procedure assessment, procedural care, and post-procedure follow-up.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
• Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the advancement of gastroenterology services.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow evidence-based medical practices.

Requirements

• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology.
• Extensive experience in managing complex gastrointestinal and hepatology cases.
• Expertise in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology procedures.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Candidates with UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board certification, Australian Board certification, or South African Board certification are highly preferred.
• Proven experience working in a reputed hospital or healthcare facility.
