Senior Consultant Hand Surgeon in a Leading Healthcare Facility

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Consultant Hand Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will provide specialized surgical care for complex hand, wrist, and upper limb conditions while delivering exceptional patient outcomes and advanced surgical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and surgical management of hand, wrist, and upper limb disorders.
• Perform complex reconstructive, microsurgical, trauma, and elective hand procedures.
• Manage hand injuries, fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, congenital conditions, and degenerative disorders.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on clinical assessment and diagnostic findings.
• Perform advanced surgical interventions to restore function, mobility, and quality of life.
• Provide pre-operative evaluation, surgical planning, and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical documentation, and evidence-based practice.
• Contribute to clinical development, quality improvement, and advancement of hand surgery services.

Requirements

• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, or Hand Surgery with specialized experience in Hand Surgery.
• Extensive experience managing complex hand and upper limb surgical cases.
• Expertise in microsurgery, reconstruction, trauma management, and functional restoration.
• Excellent clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
• Candidates with UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board certification, Australian Board certification, or South African Board certification are highly preferred.
• Proven experience working in a reputed hospital or specialized surgical center.
