Senior D365 BC Finance Functional Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Functional Consultant to join a growing team delivering modern ERP solutions to a diverse range of customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced functional consultant with a strong background in finance processes and Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central. You will play a key role in delivering end-to-end ERP implementations, advising customers on business processes, and designing solutions that improve financial operations and overall business performance.

You will work closely with customers and project teams throughout the entire implementation lifecycle, from initial analysis and requirements gathering to solution design, testing, training, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer workshops and requirements-gathering sessions to understand business needs and financial processes.
• Analyse existing finance processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
• Design and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions aligned with customer requirements and standard functionality.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs for development teams.
• Manage functional implementation activities, including configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Advise customers on finance-related best practices and Business Central capabilities.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other functional consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the consulting team.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
• Strong functional expertise in finance and accounting processes within an ERP environment.
• Proven experience participating in or leading ERP implementation projects.
• Experience in requirements analysis, solution design, customer workshops, and functional testing.
• Good understanding of financial business processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• A customer-oriented mindset and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Fluent Danish and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
