Senior Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own ETL processes and data models behind analytics and financial reporting
• Design and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, and Fivetran to move and transform data
• Build and maintain reports in Sigma; support and develop new dashboards in Looker as needed
• Work day to day with SQL, Python, and AWS across the full data pipeline
• Model financial domain data: transactions, payments, contract logic, tax calculations
• Ensure reporting remains reliable and accurate as data needs grow

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Strong SQL and Python for data transformation and pipeline development
• Production-level Snowflake and DBT experience
• Fivetran and AWS experience
• Experience building and maintaining reports/dashboards in Sigma and Looker
• High ownership and accountability: comfortable driving ETL processes and data models independently
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with the accounting team and translating manual processes into automated solutions

• Financial domain experience, especially transactions, payments, contract logic, and tax calculations
• Experience in fintech, music/media, or royalties/rights management domains
• Familiarity with financial data processing and reporting
