What Makes This Role Unique
This is more than a graphic design position—it's an opportunity to shape the visual identity of a company with a century-long legacy.

- Contribute copywriting for newsletters, social posts, and web pages, collaborating with the team — including AI tools — to draft and refine content.
Digital & Web
- Build and update new pages on the company's Squarespace site.
- Apply working knowledge of HTML and CMS-based web design tools; Webflow experience is a plus.
Photography & Video
- Photograph employees for use in the newsletter, social media, and web content, conducting light interviews as needed to gather quotes and context.
- Edit photos for use across platforms; video editing skills are a plus for short-form content.
Position Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional design experience spanning both print and digital media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and Figma.
- Strong, current knowledge of design trends and social media best practices.
- Comfortable writing and editing copy for newsletters, social, and web.
- Comfortable photographing employees and conducting brief interviews to gather content.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CMS platforms; Squarespace required, Webflow a plus.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating range across print, digital, and social design.
Preferred Qualifications

- Video editing experience.
- Curiosity about — or experience — weaving AI tools into a design workflow.
- Experience in construction, engineering, or another industrial B2B environment.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first year, you will:
- Own the monthly employee newsletter from design through production.
- Establish a consistent, modern visual presence on Instagram and LinkedIn.
