Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer focused on on-premise infrastructure for our client in the e-commerce sector.

Job description

• Design and build scalable, high-performing infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Maintain and evolve our on-premises infrastructure, solving complex challenges at massive scale (60PB+ monthly data traffic).
• Implement monitoring for both infrastructure health and business metrics.
• Own architectural and technical decisions — and be ready to defend them.
• Drive continuous improvement of infrastructure, tooling, and practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and build roadmaps for adopting them smoothly.

Tech stack - HAProxy, Ansible, Terraform, Shell, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Redis, Kafka.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Linux-based systems and managing proxies/load balancers.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, or another IaC tool, and building CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with application monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, or similar).
• Experience with virtualized infrastructure (Kubernetes and/or public cloud platforms — general exposure is fine even though our environment is on-prem).
• Server-side development skills (Lua, Go).
• Comfort using AI tools to support day-to-day engineering work.

• Salary:
• For employees: 5 500 EUR to 7000 EUR monthly (gross).
• For contractors: 38 EUR to 45 EUR per hour (plus VAT).
