Your Mission

Join ClearEdge as a Senior DevOps Software Engineer, where you will design, automate, and sustain infrastructure and deployment solutions supporting secure environments. In this role, you will leverage Infrastructure-as-Code and automation frameworks to build reliable, scalable, and compliant systems. You will play a key role in integrating development and operations practices to ensure efficient, repeatable, and secure delivery pipelines.

You Will Excel in This Role If You Are:

An experienced DevOps engineer with AWS experience

Highly proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation practices

Skilled in Terraform, Ansible, and Packer for provisioning and configuration management

Comfortable deploying and managing containerized workloads using Kubernetes

Experienced in building secure, repeatable deployment pipelines

Knowledgeable in system security requirements and accreditation processes

Capable of collaborating across engineering, security, and operations teams

Comfortable working in classified environments with complex compliance requirements

A Day in the Life Of:

Designing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform

Automating configuration management and deployments with Ansible and Packer

Deploying and managing containerized applications within Kubernetes environments

Supporting secure system builds and hardened infrastructure baselines

Collaborating with system administrators, software engineers, and security teams

Troubleshooting deployment, orchestration, and infrastructure issues

Contributing to system documentation and supporting security accreditation activities

Continuously improving automation, scalability, and system reliability

Must Haves:

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance

Fourteen (14) years of experience as a DevOps or Software Engineer on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (4 additional years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree)

Experience as a DevOps engineer within cloud environments

Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Packer

Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes environments

Nice to Haves:

Systems Administration background related to SSP accreditation

Development experience in Java or Python

Experience supporting secure or compliance-driven environments
