Main responsibilities:

• Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
• Assist in the design and development of Electrical systems for a diverse range of projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, structural engineers, designers, and project management ensuring project success.
• Perform modeling activities in Revit/AutoCAD 3D, based on rules provided by a senior engineer.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and incorporate best practices into designs.
• Coordinates and act as a senior engineer, being involved in project management tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and client communication.

Qualifications

Mandatory:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering;
• Minimum 9 years professional experience in electrical design;
• Strong knowledge of at least 1 engineering modeling/drafting software;
• Advanced AutoCAD 2D skills;
• Advanced English language skills.

Nice to have:

• Revit MEP skills / AutoCAD 3D skills;
• Common Data Environment familiarity (BIM 360, ACC or similar);
• Clash detection software experience;
• BIM Management/Coordination experience;
• Technical Due Diligence experience.
