Senior Engineer - Integrations

OVERVIEW

As Senior engineer, Integrations, you will be responsible for building integrations between internal applications as well as external partner systems to enable seamless business functions. Reporting to Director, Platform and Digital Engineering, your prior experience in application integration design and development will empower you to build and deliver integration solutions as per the project requirements. Your ability to multi-task will enable you to handle integration requirements from multiple projects. You will attend requirement discussions to provide technology inputs to finalize achievable integration requirements and define data mappings. You will build the integration solutions with quality, maintainability and do future support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strong hands on experience in designing and implementing scalable integration solutions using middleware and iPaaS platforms (Preferred Boomi).
• Define and apply integration patterns including MFT, pub/sub, streaming, ETL, and APIs.
• Develop and maintain XML and JSON schemas (XSD, JSON Schema); perform data transformation, validation, and mapping between hierarchical and object-based data models.
• Implement secure data transfers using protocols such as HTTPS, FTPS, SFTP, and AS2.
• Build and maintain custom functions or microservices using Java, Spring Boot, or JavaScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-performance integrations.
• Drive continuous improvement in integration architecture, quality, and team efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience integrating enterprise applications using middleware or iPaaS platforms.
• 3+ years of experience with integration patterns, protocols, and data formats.
• Strong background in XML/JSON schema design, data mapping, and transformation.
• Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus among cross-functional stakeholders.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $190,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees.
