Senior Engineer - Transportation will support the planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects in Qatar. The Senior Engineer will act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination across all project phases.

1. Transport Planning and Analysis:

   • Develop integrated transport strategies for urban and regional projects.
   • Conduct traffic impact studies, feasibility assessments, and corridor efficiency analysis.
   • Optimize traffic operations and propose infrastructure upgrades.

2. Design and Supervision:

   • Prepare detailed engineering designs for roadways, intersections, and transport facilities.
   • Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
   • Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and ensure project deliverables meet specifications.

3. Stakeholder Coordination:

   • Collaborate with government authorities such as Ashghal and the Ministry of Transport & Communications (MoTC).
   • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams for project approvals and execution.

4. Sustainability and Innovation:

   • Implement sustainable mobility solutions, including multimodal transport strategies.
   • Integrate land use projections and accessibility improvements into transport planning.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
   • Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years in transport engineering, with significant experience in Qatar or the Middle East.
  • Expertise in road geometric design, traffic modeling (e.g., VISUM, VISSIM), and sustainable transport strategies.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
