Senior Enterprise Analytics Engineer – Commercial

We are looking for aSenior Enterprise Analytics Engineer – Commercialto build and develop the data foundation behind our commercial analytics. You will work closely with Commercial teams to understand their data and reporting needs and translate them intotrusted, reusable data models, metrics, andSilver and Golddata products.

Working closely with our IT Data team, which owns the data platform and source pipelines, you will take technical ownership of theCommercial data domain, including analytics architecture, data quality, documentation, and BI enablement. You will also help ensure our commercial data is structured and ready to supportfuture AI and GenAI use cases.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build andmaintainSilver and Gold-layer data products for the Commercial domainin Databricks, turning enterprise data into reliable, reusable models, metrics, and datasets for reporting and analytics.

• Work closely withCommercial stakeholdersto understand business needs and translate them into clear data definitions, KPIs, and scalable analytical solutions.

• Partner with theIT Data teamto align Commercial data products with the enterprise data platform, architecture, pipelines, and engineering standards.

• Owndata quality, documentation, lineage, and governancefor key Commercial datasets and metrics, ensuring consistent definitions and trusted reporting across the business.

• Investigatedata and BI issues across source systems, transformation layers, and reporting, replacing recurring manual fixes with sustainable data-model or transformation improvements.

• Helpestablishanalytics engineering standards and AI-ready data foundations, improving modelling, testing, documentation, and reuse while supporting future advanced analytics and GenAI use cases.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience across Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or related areas, with hands-on technical experience.

• Solidexperiencedesigning and building enterprise analytical data models, Silver/Gold data layers, and reusable datasets that support business reporting and analytics.

• Advanced SQL skills, including complex transformations, data modelling, query optimisation, and troubleshooting across different data sources and layers.

• Experience withdimensional and semantic modelling and modern cloud data platformssuch as Databricks, Snowflake,BigQuery, or Microsoft Fabric.

• Experiencetranslating business requirements into scalable data solutions, working directly with business stakeholders and closely with Data Engineering, BI, and Analytics teams.

• Experience withPySpark,dbt, Python, data governance/cataloguing, or CI/CD is an advantage. Experience working withcommercial datasuch as CRM, sales, marketing, or customer datais also valuable.
