Responsibilities:
Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
Compile Malta VAT Returns and VAT Recapitulative Statements
Compile VAT reports for external tax consultants to submit VAT Returns for foreign VAT Registrations.
Ensuring secretarial compliance with MBR incl BO Declarations, Annual Returns etc)
Compliance with Transfer Pricing regulations
Compile surveys and other documents required by the NSO
Liaise with banks (local and foreign) on KYC exercises.
Assist with compilation of other statutory applications and documents (eg government grants)
Assist with cashflow monitoring and forecasting.
Assist with Finance Audits
Prepare adhoc reports.
And any other tasks assigned by supervisor
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Professional certification such as ACCA
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, financial models, data analysis)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
