The role bridges frontline execution and team leadership, mentoring junior coordinators and contributing to process improvement and global HR projects.
Role & Responsibilities
Advanced Employee Lifecycle Management
- Lead end-to-end onboarding and offboarding for assigned countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high-quality employee experience.
- Oversee complex employee data changes across HR systems and conduct quality checks on work completed by junior coordinators.
- Manage escalated lifecycle cases requiring deeper process or policy knowledge.
- Run complex HRIS reports and conduct regular data audits to maintain compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare and interpret HR data reports, identifying trends or risks and communicating findings to HR Managers and HRBPs.
- Validate payroll-impacting data changes and support the resolution of discrepancies in partnership with Payroll.
- Act as a Tier 2 escalation point for complex employee queries requiring in-depth process and policy knowledge.
- Manage tickets with increased autonomy, progressing cases through to resolution without requiring routine supervision.
- Support Employee Relations cases: gather documentation, prepare case files, schedule meetings, take notes, and maintain accurate case tracking.
- Lead low-to-medium complexity ER case meetings (e.g., fact-finding, formal meetings) in partnership with the HR Manager, ensuring thorough documentation throughout.
- Draft and review employment documents — contract changes, variation letters, standard and non-standard templates — to a high standard of accuracy and policy alignment.
- Ensure adherence to local labour laws, audit standards, and internal governance requirements for assigned countries.
- Maintain and update SOPs, knowledge-base articles, and HR policy documentation.
- Lead the monthly collection, validation, and review of payroll inputs for assigned countries or business areas.
- Partner with Payroll and Benefits teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide enhanced support on complex benefits and pay-related queries, escalating to specialist teams where required.
- Support HR Operations and cross-functional projects including system enhancements, policy rollouts, and process harmonisation.
- Contribute analysis, documentation, testing, and change management preparation to project deliverables.
- Identify improvement opportunities, propose practical solutions, and assist in implementing workflow or documentation changes.
- Mentor and support junior HR Coordinators by sharing knowledge, reviewing work, and providing constructive feedback.
- Partner with HR Managers, HRBPs, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, IT, Legal, and external vendors to ensure seamless operations.
- Contribute to a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and knowledge-sharing within the HR Ops team.

Technical HR Knowledge
- Strong, hands-on knowledge of HR processes, HRIS systems, and employment lifecycle administration.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-country process activities and maintain data accuracy under volume and time pressure.
- Practical experience with payroll input preparation and benefits administration.
- Capable of supporting and managing low-to-medium complexity ER cases with professionalism and consistency.
- Confident leading formal meetings, providing clear guidance, and ensuring documentation is accurate and legally compliant.
- Able to interpret HR data, identify trends, and detect risks within processes or employee information.
- Translates analytical insight into practical, actionable recommendations for HR leaders.
- Clear, professional communicator — written and verbal — able to engage effectively across employee, HRM, and HRBP audiences.
