The ideal candidate must have at approx 8 years experience designing on Outerwear either for a supplier or retail brand. Ideally experience with for young high street accounts. The designer must be confident and able to work within a fast paced environment.

You will manage mostly Ladieswear but also cover some girlswear.

The company also covers Men's and Boyswear.

You will work closely with the Sales Director and the designers in China to create trend led ranges, research global trends and keep ahead of the competition. We are looking for passionate, driven designers to bring innovative ideas.

The ideal candidate must have -

*The ability to identify current trends and shapes from catwalks to blog sites, comp shop trips and translate into commercial product and also produce customer trend analysis presentation boards.

* A good Knowledge of techniques, fabrics and finishes.

*Ability to work within design briefs and understand buying sign off requirements.

* All applicants must have excellent and extensive knowledge and practical use of both Adobe photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

* Applicants must have a keen eye for detail.

*Excellent knowledge of print and able to produce high quality specification sheets for samples to be made in China and be able to liaise with the China development office.

*Good organisational skills and time management.

*Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.

*The ability to adapt to situations and deadlines by keeping a level head, thinking outside the box and able to work independently as well as working well in a team.
