Rate: Up to 150 PLN/h (B2B)

Location: Warsaw (PL)

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days a week in the office)

Optiveum is a recruitment and contracting agency that connects top IT professionals with the best companies on the market. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Linux Engineer for our client in the banking industry.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation technologies and contribute to continuous platform improvement through modern DevOps practices.

Please note: Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party for this role. You will sign the B2B cooperation agreement directly with us.

What you will be doing:

• Designing and implementing automation processes using CI/CD technologies and procedures.

• Exploring and integrating AI technologies for self-healing platform capabilities.

• Providing advanced troubleshooting and system administration support.

• Creating comprehensive documentation for automation processes for end users, engineers, and architects.

• Driving innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.

• Collaborating effectively within a SAFe SCRUM framework.

What we expect from you:

• Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+ environments.

• Experience with Google Compute Engine (GCE) and migrations from VMware to GCE.

• Knowledge of Redhat Satellite patch management and automation.

• High proficiency in Bash scripting and dynamic programming languages (Python, Perl).

• Extensive experience with configuration management tools, particularly Ansible.

• Proficiency with software development tools including Git and Jira.

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) OR extensive hands-on experience with Red Hat 8+.

• Experience working within SCRUM/Agile methodologies (experience in SAFe SCRUM is highly preferred).

• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• A strong innovative mindset with excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with VMware virtualization technologies.

• Knowledge of network administration and configuration.

• Experience with Windows system integration.
