About the role:

As Senior Manager – Business Platforms, you will lead and strategically develop our Business Platform organization within Enterprise Systems, guiding a team of 10+ technology professionals and shaping how we support Redcare’s continued growth. This is an opportunity to build a scalable and resilient organization, develop talented people and create clear ownership across a growing portfolio of business-critical applications while partnering closely with stakeholders across Redcare.

About the technology landscape:

Our Business Platforms landscape includes Workday, Salesforce, Medius, e-Invoicing solutions and SmartRecruiters, alongside further SaaS and off-the-shelf business applications. It is a diverse and growing portfolio of business-critical platforms supporting multiple functions across Redcare.

About your tasks:

  • Build and develop the Business Platform organization: Lead, coach and develop a team of 10+ technology professionals, creating clear direction and ownership while strengthening capabilities, career paths, succession options, knowledge sharing and sustainable backup models.
  • Shape a scalable operating model: Develop structures and ways of working that can grow with Redcare, reducing key-person dependencies and establishing clear responsibilities across an increasingly important and complex application landscape.
  • Steer the platform portfolio and lifecycle: Maintain a strong overview of initiatives, projects and business priorities across the portfolio and enable Product Owners and Application Managers to successfully manage service quality, releases, changes, operational readiness and continuous improvement. You’ll also help new applications transition into sustainable operational ownership and create transparency through relevant KPIs and portfolio reporting.
  • Create trusted partnerships across Redcare: Work closely with stakeholders across HR, Finance, Sales and other corporate functions, aligning priorities and expectations across different stakeholder groups and creating transparency around capabilities, risks and dependencies. Within Enterprise Systems, you’ll collaborate closely with Architecture, Security, Infrastructure and other IT functions. You’ll also work closely with Product and the IT Transformation team to define and continuously improve cross-functional processes, interfaces and responsibilities.
  • Shape strong vendor partnerships: Guide relationships with software vendors, implementation partners and external service providers, creating transparent governance and service expectations while contributing to strategic and commercial discussions around platform evolution, sourcing and vendor performance.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Above all, you are a strong people leader with several years of leadership experience within IT, Enterprise Applications, Business Applications, SaaS Platforms or Enterprise Systems. You have a track record of developing technology professionals and building high-performing teams, ideally within a growing or transforming organization.
  • You know how to lead specialists without needing to be the deepest technical expert yourself. You can set direction, delegate meaningful ownership and create accountability while giving experts the space and support to succeed.
  • You have a broad understanding of enterprise application landscapes and experience managing a portfolio of business-critical SaaS and off-the-shelf applications, including application lifecycle management, integrations, APIs and service management.
  • You are comfortable navigating different business priorities and senior stakeholders, as well as vendors and implementation partners, and have experience establishing or improving operating models, governance and application-management processes. You are fluent in English; German or Dutch is an advantage.
