Senior Manager-Engineering

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Engineering to lead the engineering delivery of global Fire & Security Systems projects in compliance with country-specific standards and customer requirements. This role is responsible for building, developing, and managing teams of Design & Estimation Engineers and Team Leads, while ensuring excellence in project execution, quality, operational efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.

The incumbent will oversee multiple engineering scopes and regions, manage delivery through functional leaders, and lead a team of approximately 20–40 professionals. The role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, people leadership, customer engagement, and operational management.

Roles & responsibilities:

•

Analyze regional business performance and align organizational structure to support business objectives and growth plans

•

Lead, develop, and scale a department of designers to support operational demands and future growth.

•

Collaborate with API group companies and regional teams to ensure seamless business operations and delivery

•

Provide technical leadership and oversight across Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control, CCTV, Sprinkler, and related life-safety systems.

•

Ensure engineering deliverables meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and applicable design standards.

•

Drive project reviews & ensure highest quality of all deliveries

•

Manage engineering operations across multiple regions and customer segments

•

Drive continuous process to develop the knowledge, skills and capabilities of individuals, teams and organizations to develop and deliver organizational strategies, plans and objectives.

•

Establish and monitor operational KPIs, quality metrics, and service delivery performance

•

Mentor the team members and ensure they met competency target and organization expectations.

•

Drives innovation and continuous improvement to form high performance culture in team.

What we look for

BE/ME (Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Communication).

•

Progressive experience in fire & security design, design management, or related technical leadership roles.

•

12–18 years of relevant experience in Fire & Security Systems engineering, Sprinkler

•

Knowledge of Fire alarm, Access control, Closed circuit television and other building and facility security systems.

•

Extensive hands-on experience in Design Engineering and Estimation

•

Progressive experience in engineering leadership, design management, or technical operations management.

•

Strong expertise in:

o

Fire Alarm Systems

o

Access Control Systems

o

CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems

o

Integrated Security Systems, Sprinkler and Life Safety Systems

•

Knowledge of international and regional fire and security standards and design practices.

•

Proven experience managing large engineering teams and multi-regional delivery operations.

•

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer relationship skills.

•

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
