Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

Lead annual budgeting, forecasting processes.
Monitor portfolio financial performance and analyse key drivers impacting distributable income and DPU.
Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast and market expectations.
Provide actionable recommendations to enhance financial performance

DPU and Management Reporting

Modelling and forecasting, analyse parameters that affects distributable income and DPU
Develop scenario analyses to support management decision-making
Prepare financial and analytical papers for Audit & Risk Committee and Board meetings
Coordinate and draft responses to Board, ARC and external stakeholder queries.

Analyst and Market Intelligence

Review analyst reports, consensus estimates and market expectations
Identify key variances between management forecasts and analyst assumptions and provide insights to management to support investor engagement and earnings communications
Track industry, peer and REIT market developments relevant to the business.

Financial Stewardship over a portfolio of entities

End-to-end stewardship includes financial reporting, statutory audit, tax compliance, cashflow oversight, corporate secretarial and corporate governance matters
Liaison with internal and external stakeholders

Strategic Finance and Transaction Support

Support financial evaluation of acquisitions, divestments, asset enhancement initiatives and other strategic projects
Perform financial modelling and scenario analyses

Corporate Governance and Policies

Lead periodic review and maintenance of finance-related policies, procedures and internal controls
Monitor compliance with finance policies and governance frameworks

Team Leadership

Assist the CFO in fostering a collaborative and aligned Finance organization through enhancing trust and communication
Provide guidance and mentoring to finance team members
Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, analytics capabilities and financial systems

Any other initiatives as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements

Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent
About 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years at managerial level, with prior audit background and/or experience in REIT industry preferred
Ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced work environment
Analytical, resourceful, good problem-solving capability (including the adoption of AI-assisted tools) and commercial mind set
Strong FP&A and financial modelling expertise
Experience with SAP/BPC and Hyperion preferred
