Senior Manager of Brand Experiences & Events
AI Summary
Leads the planning, budgeting, and execution of brand experiences and events, including influencer trips, press previews, pop-ups, and retail activations, coordinating internal teams and external agencies.
About this role
Printfresh is a joyful lifestyle brand beloved for our bold, hand-painted prints and size-inclusive sleepwear and apparel. As we expand into more categories, we’re seeking to bring our whimsical, maximalist world to the spaces our customers cherish most, their homes. From bedding to tabletop, we believe in surrounding everyday rituals with beauty and comfort.
We are looking for a highly organized, resourceful, and creatively minded Senior Manager of Brand Experiences & Events to lead our growing calendar of brand experiences.
You will own the calendar that includes activations and events such as influencer trips and dinners, press previews, collaboration launches, retail programming, pop-ups, and campus activations. We are looking for someone inventive and self-starting who thinks big and follows through on all plans from ideation to execution.
You will operate closely with three people:
- Head of Growth — prioritization, budget, measurement, and what gets funded next year
- Director of Organic Marketing — influencer strategy, guest mix, and content capture
- Founder & Creative Director — creative direction and the brand gut check on every concept
You'll also partner with Retail, Merchandising, Operations, Finance, and Creative, and manage our external PR agencies.
This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule, working in our Philadelphia office Tuesdays through Thursdays and from home on Mondays and Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and plan an annual experiential calendar, inclusive of concepts, objectives, audience, budget, and measures of success for each
- Develop and manage the annual event budget, maintaining a view of actual versus projected costs and coordinating with the Head of Growth before commitments are made
- Own end to end production and logistics of all events including briefs, recaps, run of show, vendor sourcing, contracts, travel, install, and on-site leadership
- Schedule meetings and assign ownership to hold all internal and external participants to timelines
- Provides PR leadership; build relationships with editors, influencers, and collaboration partners
- Construct a repeatable retail events and activations program for our Philadelphia store, working alongside Operations, Merchandising, and Finance teams
- Share post-event recaps and feedback, identifying ways to optimize in the future while setting success measures and objectives to build a playbook for future events
What Success Looks Like
- An accurate, prioritized, financially responsible event calendar exists, and it includes at least a few things we would not have thought of.
- Every approved event has a clear objective, owner, budget, workback plan, guest strategy, content plan, and success measure.
- Events are delivered on time, on budget, and at a level that feels unmistakably Printfresh.
- Agencies and internal teams get briefs, assets, and decisions early enough to do good work.
- High-complexity activations use outside production support instead of overwhelming the team.
- Leadership gives creative direction and shows up for the moments that matter, taking leadership members out of the execution.
- We know which events earned their spend, and next year's plan is better because of it.
Requirements
- 6-10+ years in experiential marketing, event production, brand marketing, influencer marketing, PR, or hospitality
- Extremely high-agency individual
- Currently actively leveraging AI to multiply own capabilities
- Has independently led complex events from start to finish
- Strong vendor sourcing, negotiation, and budget management; comfortable managing agencies and outside producers
- Creative thinking and problem-solving
- Calm and decisive in the face of last-minute changes and additions
- Strong communication skills, at ease with founders, editors, influencers, and VIPs
- Comfortable building the system while running the program; year one is equal parts invention and infrastructure
- Fashion, lifestyle, beauty, home, or hospitality background strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable traveling for 20-30% of the time. About 45–65 workdays annually spent traveling or working away from Philadelphia. Typically 1–2 trips per month, mixing short NYC visits with longer pop-ups, launches, and influencer experiences. Occasional international trips, when the approved calendar calls for them.
