Are you a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in Special Purpose Machinery and/or Project Design Engineering Experience? Are you looking for a role with additional responsibilities or a role with managers responsibilities? On offer is a Senior position with a specialist equipment manufacturer who have an excellent reputation in the market.

You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of bespoke projects, this will be a versatile and dynamic role where you will be working closely with the business Directors.

This business have a state of the art manufacturing facility – with Fabrication and Machining Capabilities, all Projects are built on site, so there will be a chance to get “hands on” with production.

You will need to already be working in Senior position and have experience in Fabrications, Machined Components and have excellent calculation skills – both by hand and using software.

If you have experience with Pneumatics and Hydraulics that would be highly desirable, however if you do not you will have the opportunity to be trained in these areas. Ideally you will be an experienced user of Solidworks, but again as long you are skilled in 3D CAD you will be given time and support to get up to speed with Solidworks.

About the Person

·Either Degree Educated or From a “Hands on” Apprenticeship Background

·Experienced in Project Design

·Ideally a Special Purpose Machinery Background

·Essential to be Experienced in: Metal Fabrication, Machined Components and Moving Part Design

·3D CAD Design Experience

·Desirable – Experience in Pneumatic and Hydraulic
