Senior Mechanical Engineer

EE&A is here to help provide emergency power generation products and services to customers in Ohio.  Whether you need home standby generators, primary power for industrial use or generator sales and service, we build, integrate and warrant entire power generation packages: generator sets, controls, transfer switches, paralleling switchgear, fuel tanks, enclosures and controlling software. 

EE&A offers power generation systems and generator repairs using the necessary supporting equipment to residential, commercial and industrial based clients. We stock direct replacement parts for all of the equipment we service and can ship them direct from our warehouse or one of our suppliers for even faster support.  

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall design, quality control and discipline leadership throughout the project lifecycle. We are looking for a leader with a passion for high performance/mission critical mechanical systems design. These key staff member’s duties will include mentoring team members, leadership of the mechanical project scope, and working in a technologically advanced office environment on challenging projects with great team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce proposals and negotiate fees.
  • Project manage MEP Teams.
  • Attend kick-off meetings with local architects
  • Perform site visits in local area
  • Coordinate questions/needs list with client
  • Coordinate project schedules/deliverables
  • Review workload and current staff
  • Interview and hire engineers
  • Employee reviews
  • Review revenues/expenses/profits.

Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited school
  • Minimum 4 years’ MEP design experience (PE and LEED AP a plus)
  • Experience in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects within a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated attitude
  • Strong desire to excel in this industry
