Liquid Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded private healthcare provider in the Leeds area for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join their hospital-based multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OT looking to advance their career in a supportive, clinically driven environment.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will,
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions for adults with complex mental health needs
- Conduct functional assessments and develop personalised treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, nurses, and support staff
- Support service users in achieving independence and recovery goals
- Supervise junior staff and contribute to service development and clinical leadership
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to audit and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally in mental health or hospital settings
- Strong clinical reasoning and leadership skills
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is desirable
- Commitment to person-centred care and evidence-based practice
