Senior Planner

We’re looking for organised, motivated people who enjoy problem-solving, working with teams, and keeping projects moving.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Produce and manage tender, contract and construction programmes.
• Develop build strategies, sequencing plans and critical path programmes.
• Review tender documents, identify risks, opportunities and project constraints.
• Prepare preliminaries, logistics plans and construction methodologies.
• Collaborate with bid, operations and supply chain teams to develop winning submissions.
• Produce quality responses for tenders, including programme and mythology content.
• Support project teams with programme monitoring and reporting during delivery.
• Contribute to risk management, health & safety and sustainable construction planning.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Experience in construction planning and programming.
• Proficiency in Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project or similar planning software.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts and procurement.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Strong attention to details and commercial awareness.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline.
• Experience delivering large-scale construction projects.
• Civils and drainage experience.
• Knowledge of industry best practice and modern construction techniques.
