Senior Plant & Equipment Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Plant & Equipment Engineer to join a specialist team responsible for the management, maintenance, and technical support of a diverse fleet of construction and foundation equipment.

In this role, you will support both national and international construction projects, combining technical expertise with hands-on involvement in equipment mobilization, fleet performance, and operational support. You will work closely with site teams and the Methods department while also contributing to the coordination of equipment activities across international projects.

The position offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibilities, support junior engineers, and contribute to technical and strategic decisions within the Plant & Equipment function.

Equipment Mobilization & Project Support

• Lead the organization of equipment mobilization and demobilization for national and international construction projects
• Provide expert technical support to operational teams on site
• Work closely with the Methods department to ensure effective equipment support for project execution

Fleet Management & Technical Follow-up

• Oversee the technical and administrative follow-up of the equipment fleet
• Support the optimal performance, reliability, and availability of construction and foundation equipment
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect equipment and provide technical support to local teams

International Coordination

• Support international equipment activities through back-office coordination
• Provide technical and operational support to international project teams
• Travel to international project locations for assignments of up to one month when required

Team & Professional Development

• Take on increasing technical and organizational responsibilities within the Plant & Equipment function
• Mentor and support junior engineers
• Contribute to strategic technical decisions relating to equipment and project support

Education & Experience

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Mechanics or Electromechanics
• Relevant professional experience in plant, equipment, construction, or a related engineering environment

Technical Mindset

• Strong interest in technology, construction machinery, and engines
• Hands-on and practical approach to technical challenges
• Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts clearly

Languages

• Dutch is mandatory
• Good knowledge of French
• Excellent English
• Additional languages are considered an asset
