Senior Platform Engineer (Dynatrace)

• Install and configure Dynatrace OneAgents across Linux, Windows, Kubernetes, and cloud-native platforms 
• Set up synthetic monitoring, alert profiles, management zones, and custom dashboards 
• Monitor multi-tier applications, cloud services, and databases to ensure availability and performance 
• Utilize Dynatrace Davis AI for root cause analysis and incident troubleshooting 
• Configure application detection rules, Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and alerting strategies 
• Create dashboards and reports for technical teams and business stakeholders 
• Configure Synthetic Monitoring and Real User Monitoring (RUM) to track user experience 
• Configure log analytics, log ingestion, and anomaly detection capabilities 
• Integrate Dynatrace with DevOps and ITSM platforms including Jira and ServiceNow 
• Automate monitoring workflows using Dynatrace REST APIs and scripting tools 
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using PurePath tracing to identify bottlenecks in microservices and application code
• Configure HTTP and Clickpath Synthetic Monitors for proactive performance monitoring
• Implement Real User Monitoring to improve frontend application performance visibility
• Automate onboarding and monitoring processes using Python and PowerShell scripts
• Integrate Dynatrace monitoring capabilities with Jira and ServiceNow workflows
• Support platform upgrades and maintenance activities across Dynatrace environments
• Advise stakeholders on observability strategy, monitoring standards, and performance optimization

## Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience 
• Strong experience with Dynatrace AppMon and Dynatrace platform administration 
• Experience deploying and managing observability solutions in enterprise environments 
• Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments 
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices 
• Proficiency in incident troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) 
• ITIL IT Service Management knowledge
• Project Management knowledge
• Experience working with development, DevOps, and operations teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide consultancy and observability best-practice recommendations
• Dynatrace Associate Certification
• Dynatrace Professional Implementation Certification
