Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a product designer

• Strong product design experience with excellent visual and interaction design skills.

• Strong product thinking and ability to advocate for users.

• Experience owning design end to end.

• Expert-level Figma skills.

• Strong understanding of user flows, UI, prototyping, and design systems.

• High attention to detail and strong design taste.

• Comfortable working closely with founders, engineers, and growth teams.

• Curious about AI and actively explores new AI and creative tools.

• Resourceful and able to work with external creative talent when needed.

• Bonus: Experience building or shipping a side project.

• Bonus: Experience with tools such as Rive, Spline, Paper, or similar creative tools.

Responsibilities

• Own product design end to end across user flows, prototypes, UI, and interactions.

• Advocate for the user and bring strong product thinking to product decisions.

• Work closely with founders, engineering, and growth to shape the product.

• Build and evolve Cardboard's design system.

• Create cohesive, intentional experiences across the product.

• Identify and improve friction points across user journeys.

• Raise the creative and design quality bar across the team.

• Make product experiences that users genuinely love.
