Senior Product Designer (UI)

As a Product Designer at DataSnipper, you’ll raise the bar on the quality, clarity, and consistency of our product experience. You’ll combine strong visual craft with pragmatic UX thinking, turning complex audit workflows into intuitive, fast, and delightful interfaces.

You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and AI to design end-to-end experiences, prototype and validate solutions quickly, and take true ownership of our design system.

Audit and finance are still massively manual and we are changing that. DataSnipper is a $1B, bootstrapped unicorn with 600,000+ users across 180+ countries, already embedded in the daily workflows of top audit and accounting firms.
Now, we are taking things further with our Excel Agent, bringing AI directly into where the work actually happens. Unlike generic AI tools, we do not sit on the sidelines. Our AI operates inside Excel, with access to real documents and audit evidence, meaning it does not just generate answers, it does the work, with full traceability.

What you will do

• Lead visual and UX improvements across key product areas. Ship designs that are elegant, accessible, and production-ready.

• Help evolve the DataSnipper design system: components, patterns, tokens, and usage guidelines.

• Define and document strong UI/UX standards that help the entire product organization move faster with confidence.

• Prototype rapidly (incl. “vibecoding” prototypes) to explore solutions and align stakeholders early.

• Collaborate with the AI and Frontend teams to ensure AI-generated prototypes and UI adhere to our patterns and quality bar.

• Partner with UX designers on research: plan, join, and synthesize usability tests and interviews.

• Translate insights into clear design decisions that are grounded in user needs, data, and product strategy.

• Work tightly with PMs and engineers to scope, iterate, and deliver outcomes and not just outputs.

• Track and communicate the impact of design improvements to product leadership and stakeholders.

What you will bring

• A strong portfolio that demonstrates exceptional UI craft and clear ownership of a design system.

• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping products in a B2B SaaS environment.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma (or similar), with strong component and system thinking.

• Comfort working with modern AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to accelerate prototyping and exploration.

• A high ownership mindset: you proactively identify problems, drive alignment, and follow through to delivery.

• Strong communication skills; able to present work clearly to senior stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally.

• Ability to balance speed and quality in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Bonus: familiarity with audit, finance, or regulated enterprise workflows.
