Blue Sky is seeking a Senior Program/Project Manager to provide SETA support for the
acquisition of ground systems. The candidate will provide SETA support for the acquisition of ground systems cooperatively with government, FFRDC, and other SETA contractors. Candidate should be strong in the area of strategic acquisition. Responsibilities include:

  • Large development contract management
  • Advise Senior and Mid-Level COTRs on acquisition decisions to include investment strategies, portfolio priorities, and risk assessment of project execution
  • Provide expert program management execution support
  • Act as right hand to junior and mid-level COTRs to steer/direct programs
  • Actively manage large programs with emphasis on mission closure and milestone achievement
  • Provide technical and cost assessment of developer proposals, technical reports, design artifacts, and program plans

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Excellent experience in managing IC contracts
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience in engineering and/or acquisition of Intelligence Community (IC) and/or DoD spacecraft S'(stems
  • Knowledge of IC and/or DoD acquisition roles, processes, and/or program management
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment with excellent communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications

Desired qualifications:

  • Bachelor's STEM degree
  • Advanced degree
  • Experience with IC and/or DoD space architectures
  • Experience working within or closely with Acquisition Offices
