We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Steel Detailing team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Requires good experience with Structural Steel Detailing & Designing work
• Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring overall project profitability and client satisfaction
• Create and prepare project-related materials and documentation to support internal teams and project execution
• Coordinate project-related details between clients and production staff while ensuring compliance with company procedures and standards
• Collaborate with senior leadership and HQ management on strategic planning, operational goals, and process optimization initiatives
• Schedule and allocate project resources to meet construction timelines and client delivery expectations
• Effectively coordinate project modifications and adapt to changing project requirements as needed
• Define project roles, responsibilities, and deadlines to ensure efficient workflow and accountability among team members
• Conduct high-level quality reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and company quality procedures
• Prepare, track, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and design change summaries throughout the duration of the project
• Monitor and adjust project activities to ensure alignment with JMT Tekla project workflow procedures and delivery schedules
• Prepare drawing packages for client submission in accordance with scheduled project deadlines
• Review and revise drawing packages to ensure compliance with client standards, specifications, and quality requirements
• Oversee project planning, execution, risk management, and final delivery to ensure successful completion within scope, schedule, and budget
• Mentor, train, and develop project managers, team leads, detailers, and junior engineers to strengthen technical and leadership capabilities
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to project workflows, productivity, detailing standards, and operational efficiency
• Identify project risks, technical challenges, and resource constraints proactively and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure lessons learned, project feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives are incorporated into future project planning and execution

Qualifications:

• Under Grad: B. Tech/B.E. - Civil, Mechanical
• Diploma: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization, PG Diploma - Any Specialization, Civil, Mechanical
• 10+ Years of experience in the Steel Detailing industry willing to consider candidates who can demonstrate significant experience in a related field
• 5+ Years of experience in Project Management
• Advanced level of knowledge of Tekla Structures
• Must know AISC & CISC Standards
• Considerable proficiency and experience in working on Commercial US Projects
• Experience in structural and miscellaneous steel construction, fabrication, and the ability to read drawings
• Proven project management and coordination skills
• Self-motivated and ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal guidance
• Deadline-driven with attention to detail
• Must have 5+ years’ experience in AISC / CISC Projects
• Must have good communication skills. (Written & spoken)
• Must have good experience in Model Checking & Erection Checking
