Senior QC Automation Engineer (Playwright, TypeScript)

🌟 ABOUT THE ROLE:

As Joblogic is evolving into the first truly Agentic AI-driven FSM platform, we’re looking for passionate Senior QC Automation Engineers to join our growing tech team in Vietnam office, and take our cutting-edge SaaS platform to the next level.

(*) This role is at the forefront of our AI-first QA strategy – you'll not only write automation tests, but also actively leverage AI tools to accelerate test coverage, reduce maintenance costs, and drive intelligent quality insights across the SDLC.

🌟 WHAT YOUR MAIN FOCUS WILL BE:

• Collaborate with the manual testing team to review test cases, ensuring all requirements are testable and suitable for automation.
• Attend meetings with the development team to assess Acceptance Criteria, determining which can be automated for efficiency.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, regression test scripts, and defect reports.
• Provide accurate testing estimates and actively participate in project planning to align testing efforts with project timelines.
• Stay ahead of the curve by learning and evaluating new tools and technologies that enhance test execution and improve overall testing efficiency as needed.
• Ensure a positive end-user experience for supported applications by implementing thorough testing processes and addressing user feedback.
• Leverage AI tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to auto-generate and review test cases, test scripts from user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct R&D initiatives to apply AI/ML in testing (e.g., automated test case generation, self-healing test maintenance, prompt engineering, defect prediction & triage, visual AI testing, LLM-powered log analysis, etc.).
• Other tasks upon available request.

🌟 WHAT YOU BRING:

✅ Educational Background: Bachelor of Information Technology, or relevant field.

✅ Experience:

• 5+ years of automation testing experience (Playwright, Appium)
  
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience applying AI tools to QA workflows

✅ AI & Intelligent Testing (must-have):

• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor) for test script generation and review
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic) for integrating AI into QA workflows
• Experience with prompt engineering to generate test cases, BDD scenarios, or test data
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts relevant to QA: self-healing tests, anomaly detection, predictive analytics

✅ Software Testing Proficiency:

• Hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Familiarity/or willingness to work with TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of web parallel testing, mobile automation, API testing, and web services.
• Knowledge/or experience with CICD Azure pipeline.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (K6 or Locust).
• Proficient in JIRA management and Agile SDLC practices.
• Experience developing testing workflows using Microsoft Visual Studio IDE and Postman, as well as source control tools like Git and SourceTree.
• Knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL queries (SQL Server) required.

✅ Mindset and Soft Skills:

• Having product mindset focused on customer value and business outcomes.
• Possess R&D skills and critical thinking abilities to tackle complex problems.
• Quick-adaptive to changes, proactive, eager to learn, and ready to spearhead our automation testing initiatives.
• Intermediate English communication (both spoken and written).

(*) AI & Intelligent Testing (Nice to Have):

• Workflow automation with N8N or Flowise to connect QA tools and AI agents
• Experience with AI visual testing tools (Applitools, Percy)
• Knowledge of agentic testing concepts (autonomous test agents, AI-driven exploratory testing) • Familiarity with TestRigor or Mabl (AI-native testing platforms)
• Experience building custom AI testing pipelines (e.g., LLM + test runner integrations)
