Your Role

As a Senior RTL Algorithm Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming innovative algorithms into practical RTL implementations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownershipof converting 3D holographic concepts and algorithms into RTL designs.
• Performinganalysis and modelingof algorithms, mathematical models, and behavior definitions.
• Transforming models and equations intosynthesized RTL implementations.
• Adapting and improving behavior, functional, and logic specifications into robust RTL designs.
• Contributing constructivelyto architecture definition and design.
• Integrating components, IP, and subsystems effectively.
• ConductingIP analysis and selectionto ensure optimal performance.
• Defining, designing, and implementingsimulation and test environments.
• Driving simulations for component and subsystem tests.
• Participating in, conducting, and leadingdesign reviews.
• Engaging in functional validation using FPGA prototypes and post-silicon validation for ASICs.
• Collaborating withPhotonics and Holographic Research Teamsto enhance product development.
• Interacting with the Electronics Design Team to ensure seamless integration.
• Mentoring junior team members to foster growth and development.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should have:

• ABachelor’s degreein Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
• 6-8 years of RTL design and implementation experiencewith a strong focus on algorithm analysis and modeling.
• Proficiency inVerilog/SystemVerilogfor RTL design.
• Strong mathematical skills and experience incomputer arithmetic.
• Expertise inhigh-speed design(>500MHz) and pipelined design with data streaming.
• Knowledge ofcomputer architecture/microarchitectureand memory systems design (both on and off-chip).
• Familiarity withstandard interconnect structures and interfacesand multi-clock domain designs.
• Highly developeddebugging skillsand experience with RTL simulation tools (Modelsim/Questa).
• Experience in interfacing with external chips and devices.
• Proficiency in scripting/modeling languages such asMatlaband/orPython.
• Excellent communication skills to convey abstract concepts clearly.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge ofVHDLand experience in video/image processing.
• Basic understanding ofelectronics designand practical exposure to analog electronics (using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers).
• Familiarity withprogramming languagessuch as C, C++, C#, and assembler (ARM).
• Experience withfrontend ASIC designand versioning systems.
• Knowledge ofTcl/Tk, Simulink, and DSP-builder.
• Experience withvideo interfaceslike HDMI or embedded DisplayPort (eDP) and serial protocols/interfaces.
