About this role

The Sales Development Representative represents Hustler Marketing to potential new clients and drives new business through proactive outbound. You build and work your own pipeline through a multi-channel outbound strategy, then take those opportunities through discovery and sales calls to closed deals. The focus is selling our digital agency services primarily to DTC brands.

As part of the Sales Team, you run outbound campaigns, deliver strong discovery and sales calls over Zoom/Google Meet, and represent Hustler Marketing in the best possible way. You source, qualify, and prepare future clients, then carry them through the sales conversation yourself.

This is a hands-on role across the full sales process, so a thorough understanding of our services is essential. It calls for strong sales skills, creativity, comfort with data, and real fluency with modern outbound tooling and AI. You are expected to use AI for efficiency and automation wherever it makes the work faster and better, and to operate autonomously most of the time, while staying structured, efficient, and approachable in a remote environment.

The Sales Development Representative reports directly to the Vice President and Managing Director and is the liaison between prospective clients and our internal teams at Hustler Marketing.

About the role:

Mission statement:

The mission of our Sales Development Representative is to be the front face of Hustler Marketing and keep our pipeline full of well-qualified, self-sourced leads. You own the activities across our sales process, run discovery and sales calls, and keep our sales and onboarding at the highest quality, while continuously making the outbound engine leaner and more effective through better process and smart use of AI.

General Responsibilities:

  • Building and owning your outbound pipeline, contacting new clients across cold email, LinkedIn, cold calls, and other channels
  • Running discovery and sales calls over Zoom/Google Meet, from first conversation through to close
  • Selling our digital agency services primarily to DTC brands, tailoring the pitch to each prospect
  • Researching and qualifying prospects against our ideal client profile to confirm fit for Hustler Marketing
  • Proactively finding new business in our target DTC market and spotting adjacent segments worth pursuing
  • Owning and managing the CRM, keeping records clean, accurate, and current, and reporting progress to the Vice President and Managing Director
  • Using AI and automation to make outbound, research, personalization, and follow-up more efficient, and testing new tools that improve output
  • Digging into our sales processes to find friction and improve them, including trialing new strategies and measuring results, and suggesting better ways to work
  • Making follow-up calls and running nurturing sequences for prospects and assigned leads
  • Upselling current clients from one-off services to retainers or recurring work
  • Reporting weekly to the Vice President and Managing Director on activity and results
  • Supporting onboarding of new clients alongside Account Managers, Strategists, and Department Heads
  • Managing key client relationships and helping close strategic opportunities, guiding clients through the sales and onboarding process
  • Assisting with other relevant tasks as assigned by the Vice President and Managing Director

Secondary responsibilities:

  • Ensuring a smooth and successful onboarding for new clients
  • Advising the Sales Team on prospect interactions and qualified leads
  • Taking part in research and training to sharpen our strategy and outbound, with attention to new AI capabilities
  • Using the company's sales resources and assets efficiently
  • Helping develop and meet quarterly and annual sales targets to grow revenue
  • Uncovering and measuring sales insights, strategies, and opportunities for new and existing services
  • Providing actionable insights from sales metrics, market research, forecasts, and competitive analysis to improve the overall strategy

Positions Specs:

  • Full-time commitment while meeting our general availability for office hours
  • An average of 140 tracked hours per month consistently
  • Fixed-rate monthly salary paid in USD, with a performance bonus based on results
  • A guaranteed growth path within the company when the results are there
  • Receive contractor status after signing our non-disclosure agreement
  • Exclusivity agreement (nullifying the possibility to work in a position of a similar nature while working for Hustler Marketing)
  • Committing to a 30-day notice period after the two months (with the first two months being the trial-and-adaptation period paid at full rate)
  • Regular performance reviews every 9-12 months, with the first one being after 3-6 months
  • Re-evaluation of the role and workload after 6-12 months

Requirements

About You:

Profile:

The ideal candidate has real experience selling in a digital agency, ideally to DTC brands, and is comfortable owning outbound from first touch to close. That experience should span cold email, cold calling, LinkedIn, discovery and sales calls, negotiation, audits, and proposals.

You thrive in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment and can run largely autonomously without close supervision. You do not just use tools, you question the process behind them and rebuild workflows to be faster and better. A current understanding of modern outbound and of the AI solutions available for outbound is central to this role, not a nice-to-have.

Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Hubstaff, Asana, Google Workspace Suite, and a range of sales and outbound tools is a must. You should be comfortable working remotely, and availability, responsiveness, and consistency matter a great deal to us.

Key traits for this position:

Great attention to detail, organized and structured, both process and big-picture oriented, strong communicator, able to work independently, and a self-motivated, tenacious, personable, approachable, and collaborative salesperson comfortable across many communication channels.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 3 years in a sales position within a fast-paced environment, with preference for candidates who have sold inside a digital agency, especially to DTC brands
  • A mostly outbound background, with a proven ability to build and work your own pipeline rather than relying only on inbound or handed-over leads
  • The ability to dig into sales processes, question how things are done, and actively optimize and improve them
  • A solid, current understanding of modern outbound practices and what is working now
  • Knowledge of out-of-the-box outbound tools and a strong, practical understanding of AI solutions for outbound, with the habit of using them to save time and lift results
  • Comfort with phone and video sales, coaching, structure, and accountability to KPIs, plus a deep understanding of sales performance metrics
  • A tenacious passion for hitting goals, growing personally, and increasing the success and revenue of our company
  • Knowledge and experience of CRM software (such as Salesforce, ZOHO, or HubSpot), including keeping it clean and well organized, plus Google Workspace Suite
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is a must for analyzing spreadsheets and charts
  • Strong presentation skills, the ability to run engaging discovery and sales calls, a friendly demeanor, and high energy
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with prospective and new clients and internal teams
  • A proven track record in a sales-related position is a must
  • Familiarity with working autonomously and managing your own time (remote work experience is a plus)
  • Must be available and responsive during office hours (Mondays to Fridays between 3-6 PM BCN time)
  • Must consistently work 30-35 hours per week (i.e., 140 hours per month)
  • Must have a stable internet connection and a laptop or PC, and be able to attend virtual video conferences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. You must be fluent, although English does not have to be your native language
  • Being open to receiving and giving constructive feedback productively
