Senior SAP BW4/HANA Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models in SAP BW/4HANA

• Develop and maintain SAP HANA Calculation Views

• Build and optimize data transformations using AMDP and ABAP

• Manage data lifecycle processes, including data tiering and archiving strategies

• Design and maintain BW authorization concepts

• Develop and enhance data extractors (ODP, CDS views) to enable reliable data integration

• Ensure quality assurance through testing, validation, and proper technical documentation

• Guarantee stable, error-free, and high-performance operation of applications

Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP BW/4HANA (or BW on HANA) development

• Strong ability to work independently and in a self-driven manner

• Fluent in English; German is an advantage

• Willingness to travel occasionally

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, Databricks)

• Knowledge of Power BI

• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
