Senior Service Technician

Princess Craft RV, a nationally recognized RV dealership, is looking for a very experienced RV technician to join our Round Rock dealership team. As our new senior technician, you will bring extensive experience in RV repairs of all types, and will preferably have been certified by a recognized program. Additionally, you will take care of our customers by delivering the high quality work that they deserve. We will expect you to be a model of technical professionalism, and provide mentorship on the shop floor to your more junior colleagues. You will be paid for your experience and contribution with a very competitive base, plus bonus based on your efficiency and other contributions to the business.

WORK SCHEDULE

Tuesday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm

Saturday - 9:00am - 4:00pm

DESCRIPTION

Our senior RV technician will diagnose and perform preventive and corrective maintenance for travel trailers and truck campers, including all aspects of repair and troubleshooting. Repair and maintenance will be made on all RV subsystems including plumbing, electrical, a/c and heating, appliances, LP, structural, and more.

As a leader on our shop floor, our senior RV technician will help guide less experienced technicians and set a professional standard for them to follow.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

As a senior technician and a service leader, we will expect you to demonstrate the following competences:

• Excellent technical skills across the full range of RV troubleshooting and repairs
• Consistent focus on quality, with a high attention to detail
• Demonstrated success working independently, as well as on teams
• Positive personality and leadership style that will be an easy fit with our team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous RV tech experience minimum of 5 years. Certification preferred
• High school education or its equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Hourly pay is based on knowledge and experience, plus upside bonus based on efficiency

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Good general health and physical ability.
• Ability to perform physical tasks for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Heavy lifting is occasionally required.
• All sensory abilities are required for safety.
