Senior Software Architect – Cloud & Digital Services

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Architect with strong expertise in software architecture, cloud-native platforms, and distributed systems. In this role, you will drive architectural excellence, define technical standards, and guide engineering teams in building secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient digital solutions.

You will collaborate with multiple product and platform teams, providing architectural direction and promoting modern cloud-native practices, automation, standardization, and platform engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the evolution of software architecture frameworks and engineering practices across digital services.

• Define and maintain reference architectures, technical standards, design principles, and architectural guidelines.

• Design and guide the implementation of scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.

• Promote cloud-native architecture, microservices, serverless computing, and event-driven solutions.

• Establish architectural best practices for APIs, integrations, and distributed systems.

• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps, automation, and continuous delivery practices.

• Ensure security, compliance, governance, and operational excellence across cloud environments.

• Lead architectural reviews and contribute to strategic technology decisions.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Platform Engineers, and Enterprise Architects.

• Promote platform-first thinking, reusable components, and Internal Developer Platforms.

• Mentor engineers and architects while fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or software architecture.

• Strong experience designing distributed systems and cloud-native applications.

• Excellent knowledge of AWS and modern cloud architecture.

• Hands-on experience with serverless and event-driven architectures.

• Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.

• Good understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance requirements.

• Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and operational excellence.

• Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.

• Knowledge of Platform Engineering and Internal Developer Platforms.

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate or Professional).

• Experience in software supply chain security, governance, and risk management.

• Proven experience leading architecture transformations and organizational change.

• Understanding of developer experience and engineering productivity initiatives.
