Senior Software Developer / Infrastructure Engineer

Your mission

Your involvement is necessary for quality assurance and scaling various technologies around a large website with an large scale IoT component.
For this position, it is important that you have experience with Linux, PHP, Bash, Python, (time series/SQL) databases, cloud infrastructure (AWS), as well as an understanding of load balancers, scaling, high availability, routing, etc.

At YTEC, we will challenge you to use all your knowledge and skills to develop innovative software solutions for our clients. As a senior software engineer, you have over five years of experience in the field, can work independently, and provide guidance to your colleagues when needed.
In this role, you are not only an expert in software development but also familiar with system and infrastructure management.

Your profile

• You are an experienced software/infra/iot engineer and stay updated on developments and trends in software and hardware systems;
• You enjoy identifying and resolving technical problems in infrastructure;
• Demonstrable level of education in the workfield;
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Understanding of system architecture, networking, and cloud technologies;
• Extensive knowledge of programming languages;
• Proven experience in software development and system administration.
• Experience with IoT setups/infrastructure (with e.g. MQTT) is a plus!
