What you'll be doing

As a Senior Software Developer, you’ll be a proficient all-around developer designing and developing systems and architecture, from cloud-based user interfaces to low-level actions on mobile robots. You’ll also get the opportunity to take on a technical lead role, leveraging your expertise to teach others and contribute to our development work. You'll work on everything from robot user interfaces and perception system development to cloud-based solutions and data analysis. Our goal is to enable our customers’ machines to move autonomously, and you'll be at the heart of making that happen.

What we are looking for

You're a highly skilled and independent team player with a strong interest in autonomous mobile robots. You have a proactive attitude and a drive to spot opportunities for improvement. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Over 5 years of software development experience, with a proven track record of designing complex software architectures from scratch

• A university-level degree (M.Sc. or higher) in a relevant field like robotics, computer science, or electrical engineering

• Expert-level C++ skills

• Expert-level Python skills

• Experience with web development technologies, such as Typescript, ReactJS, and Django, or similar

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Proficiency with Git, Docker, and Linux

• Willingness to learn; in our small teams everybody needs to do a bit of everything

We also consider the following skills a plus:

• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2

• Practical knowledge of 3D point cloud processing and spatial data structures

• Experience with developing high-performance real-time software

• Hands-on experience with multi-sensor fusion

• Experience with agile-based development

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Pipelines development

• Project management and direct customer interaction experience
