Senior Software Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team and help build a secure, reliable and scalable digital payments platform.

• Design, develop and maintain core components of the e-wallet platform
• Build secure and scalable backend services, APIs and integrations
• Contribute to mobile and web application architecture
• Design and optimize databases and transaction-processing workflows
• Integrate with banks, payment providers and other third-party services
• Work on wallet functionalities including transfers, cash-in/cash-out, payments and transaction history
• Ensure high standards of system performance, reliability and availability
• Implement secure coding practices and work closely with the CISO on application security
• Participate in architecture and technology decisions
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high code-quality standards
• Implement automated testing and support CI/CD processes
• Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues
• Produce clear technical documentation
• Mentor and support junior software engineers
• Collaborate closely with Product, UI/UX, IT, Operations and Compliance teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong backend and API development experience
• Experience designing scalable and secure applications
• Strong knowledge of databases and data modeling
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption and application security
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and modern development workflows
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerized environments
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Experience with automated testing and code-quality practices
• Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to mentor junior developers and perform effective code reviews
• Fintech experience is highly valued
