Summary:

OnCorps is growing rapidly and looking to add a full-stack engineer to its software development organization. This person will join one of our product teams and play a critical role in enhancing our applications to better serve our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of product owners, data scientists, and other engineers
• Develop and maintain new front-end and back-end features in our financial services applications, designing for quality, reliability, and operational excellence
• Provide technical customer support as needed

Qualifications:

• Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience developing with strongly-typed languages
  • Experienced in building and interacting with APIs
  • Knowledge of AWS services and deployments
  • Proficiency in service-oriented architectures.
  • Deep Knowledge of Python or TypeScript (knowledge of both required)
  • Knowledge of database technologies, including relational and NoSQL technologies.
  • Knowledge of continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery processes and improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay on top of new concepts and tools in technology.
  • Located in the United States.
• Desired:
  • Experienced in building data pipelines using libraries such as Pandas and PySpark.
  • Experienced in charting libraries and data visualization
  • Familiarity with building and deploying containerized code (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Financial industry experience
  • Experience with AI modeling

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to work long hours at a desk using a PC, video conferencing, and phone.
