Senior Software Engineer - Liquidity Book- Java Fullstack

Your Team's Impact:

Liquidity Book is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Hyderabad, focusing on the development and improvement of our Order Management System (OMS) platform. This role involves hands-on work across backend Java systems and frontend applications, collaborating with team members to deliver reliable and effective solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Participate in the design and development of OMS features for both new initiatives and existing products.
• Contribute to backend service and frontend application development using established technologies.
• Support team code reviews, technical discussions, and troubleshooting.
• Help maintain engineering best practices and code quality.
• Assist with platform improvements, including refactoring and performance enhancements.
• Make hands-on technical contributions to software development projects.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in programming in Java and frontend frameworks like reactjs, angular or Vue.
• Experience working with distributed systems or large-scale applications.
• Solid foundation in software architecture, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
• Should be comfortable with using AI coding assistance like Claude.
• Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Vitest/Jest/Mocha, Playwright etc.
• Exposure to CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) or automation tools.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and support team growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or knowledge of financial trading applications, especially OMS, EMS, or related systems.
• Familiarity with multi-threaded programming and scalable frontend solutions.
• Understanding of trading workflows, FIX protocol, or market data integration.
• Experience taking part in system upgrades or technology improvements.
