Responsibilities

he role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, active participation in technical decision-making, and the ability to provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle. The successful candidate is expected to drive engineering excellence, contribute to architectural discussions, and support the long-term growth and stability of the platform. Primary Duties will include:

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade applications using modern software engineering best practices.
• Take ownership of complex technical initiatives from design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Act as a technical leader within the team, providing guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to other engineers.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, Architects, and other engineering teams to deliver business value.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the long-term technical direction of the My Account and Nexus platforms.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with engineering standards.
• Participate in technical planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and release activities while balancing business priorities and delivery timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize performance, reliability, and development processes.
• Support production systems by investigating complex issues, identifying root causes, and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Promote engineering best practices including code quality, testing, peer reviews, documentation, and DevOps principles.
• Build and maintain strong domain knowledge to support long-term platform evolution and business continuity.

Qualifications

To Land this role you will need:

• Extensive experience in frontend software development using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-based design, responsive UI development, and application performance optimization.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and collaborating effectively with backend teams to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
• Experience working within microfrontend architectures and modern cloud-based environments is an advantage.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or similar solutions) to improve productivity, code quality, problem-solving, and software delivery.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, make sound engineering decisions, and mentor other engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software.

Working Environment:

• 4 days per week in the office
