Senior Strategic Sourcing

Maxwell is a fast growing Automotive Tier -1 Advanced Electronic Supplier, currently working with some of the leading Auto OEM's in India and abroad. We are looking for our leader in Strategic Sourcing who will proactively manage component supplies, leverage existing relations with semiconductor companies and lead vendor development.

You should be a leader with demonstrated experience in the electronic supply chain, procurement, vendor relations, setting up processes from scratch, strong negotiation skills, team management and should be willing to work in 'wartime' mode to secure our short term and long term supplies.

Responsibilities:

• You have 12+ years of experience of leading purchase, strategic sourcing for semi conductors, vendor relations, costing and have a team report to you
• You will derive a robust strategy to mitigate semi conductor shortages and secure supplies for production
• You should have strong understanding of pricing terms and ability to negotiate short term and long term shipments
• You must have strong vendor relations with key semi conductor companies (Microchip, On Semi, TI, Vishay, ADI, NXP, Nexperia..etc) and distributors (Arrow, Avnet..etc)
• You should be taking ownership of purchases worth 500 Cr INR
• You should have strong negotiation skills and personality of a hustler
• You have experience in working with cross functional teams of production and sales
• You have excellent reporting and communication skills
• You have good understanding of sourcing processes and tools like SAP H4 Hana module needed for Auto Tier 1 supplier
• You should have good team management and delegation skills
• You have a strong set of values that guide your decision making skills
