The opportunity with us as a Senior Surveyor

We are looking for a Senior Surveyorto join our high performing Melbourne team. Reporting to the Melbourne Survey Manager, you will be executing precise surveying tasks on built-form construction projects. This role involves set out, verification, as built and documentation of survey data to support engineering and construction projects.

You will be:

• Performing calculations, set out, as-builts and verification tasks for structural elements, gridlines, and services on built-form projects.
• Providing accurate plans, measurements, calculations, and reports to support engineering and construction teams.
• Managing survey equipment, software, and data management systems (e.g.Leica, AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
• Using surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, theodolites) to measure angles, distances, and elevation.
• Leading and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development aligned with company goals.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• University qualification or TAFE Diploma in Surveying.
• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in construction surveying, specifically in high-rise or built-form projects.
• Extensive knowledge of surveying instruments and software (e.g., 12d software, AutoCAD, Leica Survey equipment)
• A valid driver’s license and White Card.
• Experience in communicating with clients and understanding their requirements.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.

With this role, the successful candidate must successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screening. Periodic drug testing may be required per company policy.

Desirable experience:

• Experience in major infrastructure, civil or commercial construction projects in Australia.
