Reporting to the Director UK Technical Operations, leading a team of Technical product managers, you will act as ‘product expert’ across a defined range of our products to provide technical support to the KION / Linde Material Handling UK & Ireland Aftersales market. You will support engineer development through coaching & mentoring.

Tasks and Qualifications:

We’re interested in candidates with:

• Demonstrable experience in all current systems, features and technologies associated with our product ranges.
• Demonstrable experience of playing a key role in delivering integrated engineering projects including hardware & software configuration and fault analysis.
• Direct people management skills & experience – target & objective setting, performance management, communication soft skills, coaching and mentoring etc.
• Experience in working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & digital systems.
• Experience in materials handling technology
• Ability to propose design modifications to electrical equipment to suit specific needs.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
• A team player with a flexible approach to working.
• Able to travel within the UK and overseas, as required, on company business as and when required.
• Ideally qualified to HNC level/equivalent in engineering or science.
