The Service Repair Technician will be responsible for comprehensive support for the production lifecycle, from interpreting technical documents and assembling/testing electronic and mechanical components to ensuring final product quality and packaging.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and service departments to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve various material, assembly, and service-related issues.
- Interpret technical drawings/work orders and utilize a variety of tools and electronic test equipment for the precise assembly, testing, and repair of electronic/mechanical components and finished products.
- Perform quality assurance inspections, manage production line inventory, rework PCBs and custom electronics, and handle labeling, packaging, and shipping procedures.
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a clean and calibrated workspace, and documenting all processes.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Senior Technician or in a similar role in a medical device assembly environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Must be able to lift 25lbs consistently throughout the shift
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
